Atava Garcia Swieciki
MA is
inspired by the healing traditions of her ancestors. She is a clinical herbalist,
acupressure practitioner, teacher and co-founder of The Goose Sisters Healing Center
in Oakland. A graduate of Stanford and
Naropa
Universities,
she has trained with both indigenous healers and western
herbalists. She has
taught throughout Northern
California
and has been a guest on KPFA’s the
Herbal
Highway.
